Introduction

Dr. Choi Siu-ming is currently an assistant professor at the Faculty of Education of the University of Macau with the degrees of BSc, MPhil and PhD at CUHK. He has been the coach of the CUHK Men’s Rugby Team with the certification of World Rugby 15-a-side Level 2 and American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) Certified Exercise Physiologist®.

His principal research area lies in physical literacy. He focuses on the operationalisation of physical literacy through the Sport Education model in the university physical education context, along with the relationship between perceived physical literacy and related construct, for example, physical activity of adolescents and teaching efficacy of pre-service physical education teachers.

Furthermore, Dr. Choi is a council member and the Vice-president of the Chinese Physical Literacy Association, member of the North District Sports Association, member the Physical Fitness Association of Hong Kong, China, and manager at a primary school.
